Look for textures to make coats and jackets more modern this spring. The shorter version cropped jacket for suiting is definitely in collarless, boxy, swingy shapes as well -- But for the best look here -- Less is more. These cropped shapes are great over flowing flirty dresses of skirts and if you try this jacket with a pair of jeans or trousers, let the underlayers on top remain casually un-tucked for a more relaxed silhouette. Remember, after all, as a Diva ladies, the oversized overcoats are fun! (aka Jackie Onassis or the fabulous Dior dramatic coats our mothers or even grandmothers coveted.) These are best worn with a pencil skirt or narrow trouser and a sweater or top that is close to the silhouette to balance out the bigger coat. The trench coat continues as a staple but is pumped up in colors and prints this time.
